The InternetCoast has big plans this year, but we need your help to MAKE IT HAPPEN. Specifically we have the following "committees":
Events - We have 2 major events planned this year, one in the spring and one in the fall Research Report - We are updating and expanding the prior reports we completed in 2000 and 2005. Funding/Grants - We have identified a couple of areas to apply Digital Divide - Continuing to drive regional cooperation Marketing- The lifeblood of the InternetCoast, our website will go through a complete redesign this year

Mission: Increase the awareness of the InternetCoast (South Eastern Florida) as an entrepreneurship, research rich, growing and leading edge economic zone for Internet, Information Technology, Telecommunications, and Bioscience.
Objectives and Strategies:
Promote InternetCoast with an ongoing, consistent development of its brand image. The committee has had success in placing InternetCoast messages in print media (Forbes, Fast Company), billboards throughout South Florida and Silicon Valley, newspaper articles (local and and national), electronic media and participation in trade shows (ITEC and Business and Technology Showcase).
Target the Fortune 500 headquarters (401) and make them aware of the InternetCoast, what it offers and get their support to use InternetCoast Brand in merchandizing, product launches, media campaigns, etc.
Target the InternetCoast BOD and other key visionaries in South Eastern Florida and capture their vision, expectations and plans for achievement. This information will be used to create vignettes, articles, news clipping, interview materials, etc. Leverage the South Florida Tech 100 effort.
Establish an InternetCoast resource pool of public relations, venues, newspaper and magazine contacts, television and radio, websites to market and promote the newsworthy messages of industrial growth, synergy, collaboration, success and education.
